PLAY
New paintings under the making, they will all be part of my encaustic experimentation. After gluing down white mixed media paper on plywood, I was ready for initial play with dry medium (charcoal, inctense pencils, contè crayons and pastel crayons, yes and a bit of water) Next step will include molten wax, excited to see what will happen. But first of all, there need to be cradles under the panels and all the edges need to be trimmed 
The following pictures are enaustic on paper from a couple of days ago, not finished but they have a freshness to them that I like, will see what happens in the next session!
