Explore second round.Today I started the process of pushing these towards a higher key. I am very satisfied with the colors, texture and complexity in the underpainting now, so my next move is to try to simplify and to lighten this series. Comments are very appreciated =)
EXPLORING AND CLARIFYING.
All of these has been within reach when I’ve had some leftovers. And in case you wonder, no, I was not angry, but the blue came on so tight and heavy on two of them so I had to do something to loosen it up a bit, hence the rather wild skewer job 😂🤭😅
These paintings are now closer to have their final structure, lines and values. It is a continuous dialogue between me and the paper, the conversation is still ongoing, but I believe I can see what the final result will be looking like. That is, if I don’t overwork them and need to start all over by scraping them down again =)
