“Somewhere south would be nice” work under progress.

This painting is almost finished, I love to play with these rectilinear shapes, houses can be so much, they can contain so much and say so much about the builder and mean so much for the viewer. The next moves on this painting will be to keep the values in check, and to add some more details, yet without loosing the looseness and atmosphere. A bit of tweaking and hopefully this one will soon be ready for framing.

FOUR PIECES ON THE CLARIFY STAGE

EXPLORING AND CLARIFYING.

All of these has been within reach when I’ve had some leftovers. And in case you wonder, no, I was not angry, but the blue came on so tight and heavy on two of them so I had to do something to loosen it up a bit, hence the rather wild skewer job 😂🤭😅

Two more paintings in progress.

It is always so exciting to try out new ideas, and what is better than playing with shapes on leftover-paint boards as I have done in the upper piece. Or trying to let all the tiny bits meet in a greenish large shape as I in the lower piece. (The title on the lower painting will be: “Putting on the thinking hat” by the way.) Where these will end up in the end, is still in the blue, except that they will not be blue =)
